ICFO is offering two postdoctoral positions to well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientists who wishes to enhance their scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.

The successful candidates will be joining the Medical Optics group led by Prof. Dr. Turgut Durduran to be part of an international consortium working on the development and use of high-density, near-infrared diffuse optical tomography using diffuse correlation/speckle contrast optical tomography along side traditional diffuse optical tomography for applications in pediatrics and neurology.

The successful candidates will be part of the collaboration and work with collaborators in France, Ireland, USA and in Spain.

Overall, the project will provide the candidates with a unique, fast-paced, high application oriented experience with plenty of opportunities for publications, public presentations and even IP protection.

This position will be supported by both Horizon 2020 Programme project “tinyBrains” (http://tinybrains.eu) and NINDS of the National Institutes of Health under grant number R01NS090874.
