ICFO is offering a postdoctoral position to a well-qualified, highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to enhance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment.

The successful candidate will be joining the Quantum Information Theory group led by Prof. Dr. Antonio Acín and will be working within the project PASQUANS2. It consists of a consortium of research institutes, industry, small to medium-sized enterprises and start-ups from six EU member states, and the main goal is to develop programmable quantum simulation in Europe. The researcher will investigate the use of special-purpose quantum computing devices, such as simulators, to solve relevant problems in science and optimisation, as well as provide methods for their certification.
